Singers

Stephanie Mottershead

Originally from Glastonbury in Somerset Stephanie began playing Piano at the age of 3, attending dance classes and joining amateur theatre groups. She took Oboe and Singing lessons to grade 8 standard and was also a member of the National Youth Choir of Great Britain for several years.

She graduated with a degree in Environmental Geoscience from the University of Bristol before feeling compelled to turn her music and theatre hobbies into a serious career. She trained professionally in Musical Theatre at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in London before spending ten wonderful years performing professionally across the UK, and around the world on cruise ships

In 2017 Stephanie took the decision to embark upon a slightly more stable lifestyle following her other passion of science. She completed a second bachelors degree in Astrophysics in 2018, and has since also completed her Master's degree in Space Engineering. She now works during the week as a Mission Concepts Engineer for Surrey Satellite Technology Ltd, where she has an exciting role in designing future space missions. BUT of course she is still gigging as much as possible with her two Surrey-based bands, and is always looking to expand her performing.

In recent years her gigs have taken her to all sorts of destinations worldwide, and she has performed musical genres from 60s to modern rock, swing to musical theatre and particularly, James Bond theme songs. In 2010 she was delighted to be chosen to perform as a soloist for HRH Prince William and Kate Middleton on Royal Gala night. She has also performed in West End Eurovision in both 2011 and 2012, and for Great Ormond Street Hospital, alongside the London cast of Phantom of the Opera.

The Accidentals have been lucky enough to perform with Stephanie several times, including at GLive and have thoroughly enjoyed the glamour and professionalism she brings to all performances.

Emily Windham

Emily is an actress and singer from Guildford. Since graduating from RADA and The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, she has been making a name for herself as a versatile and skilled vocalist with an engaging stage presence, and has been busy performing across the country at a range of jazz festivals and sold-out venues. Alongside singing, Emily's toured in theatre shows across the UK and abroad, and has featured in international commercial campaigns and feature films.

The Accidentals have been thrilled to work with Emily on several occasions - her mesmerising voice and performance add glamour and sophistication to all their performances.

Andrew Blagden

Andrew learned to sing from an early age in his school choirs, singing very traditional choral music, and touring with his school performing in various Cathedrals in the south of England. These included one tour as a teenager to West Germany (as it was then) where he was exposed to rather more beer than was probably healthy for a 15 year old, particularly when performing Handel's Messiah at a local Burgermeister's memorial service.......suffice to say they weren't asked back!

Andrew has sung and performed many shows with various amateur drama groups over the years and is currently an active member of The Godalming Theatre Group. In the summer of 2024 he was lucky enough to have the opportunity of performing at The Minack Theatre in Cornwall with The British Theatre Academy.

Andrew always enjoys performing with the Accidentals and in 2016 took a leading role in their sell out performance of South Pacific. He is a natural performer with an engaging stage presence.
